Best Online GTD / Task Management Application for iPhone

PIM, Reviews, Software November 20th, 2007

iPhone unfortunately lacks a ‘Tasks’ application. But there are many online applications which fills that void. But instead of having a simple to-do list, you are always better off with something more substantial. GTD is a proven practice to get the things out of your mind and further act on them effectively. I evaluated quite a good number of available GTD tools for iPhone and finally found something which is excellent in features and usability.

ToodleDo is a great web application which helps you practice GTD. Their features are extensive. They also support an iPhone specific web interface. I am using this application on the EDGE network. It takes a while to load for the first time but from then on, its a pleasure to use. It’s highly ajaxed iPhone interface feel almost similar to using a native application. I would highly recommend this application to any iPhone user who wants to practice GTD - Effectively.

Google Notebook for iPhone

Google Notebook has been trimmed to work with iPhone or any other mobile phone. The interface is very minimal as of now, but they are promising to add more features.

The lack of an option to ’search’ over my online notes, make this offer less useful. But by using the Google Notebook notes firefox extension, you have a common notes repository - which can be synced and updated both on PC and iPhone.
